Manufacturing Analysis
iQ can show you how your Manufacturing plants and processes contribute to your bottom line
Business success today involves far more than manufacturers simply delivering quality products on time. It requires integrated solutions that include service, support, and timely and accurate information, whenever and wherever customers want it, and it demands that manufacturers regularly assess and improve the performance of operations that deliver those solutions.
To deliver optimum customer satisfaction and operations performance—and business success—manufacturers must have timely access to understand how they are tracking to key measures and then being able to analyze this further to identify inefficiencies, and act as opposed to react.
iQ Manufacturing Analysis answers your most important questions
What manufacturing processes can be most improved?
Each manufacturing process is grouped and linked with drill down capability, to their corresponding shift and manager, machine and location, customer, industry and process type which will typically be shown on a single screen to provide multidimensional reporting and analysis.
What is the source of all my wastage and how can I accurately measure improvement?
View wastage from an aggregate level with drill down available by numerous dimensions. Make process improvements with subsequent wastage targets and accurately track improvements over time to display exactly how much changes in your processes have saved the company in both time and materials.
How can I accurately track improvements to OEE overtime?
Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE) not only by machine but allow managers to slice OEE by shift and team to discover easy ways to improve important success metrics. OEE can also be tied to the GL to calculate a true ROI on any capital expenditure.
What in the actual average lead time for our jobs? Can that be improved?
In an effort to reduce E&O inventory, companies can track and reduce lead times, leading to improved customer service and lower inventory levels.
Time dimension handling
The standard solution includes adjustments for fiscal vs. calendar time (if needed), period-over-period, rolling period, and last 12 period analyses. Standard periods are days, weeks, years, half years, quarters, months, and days.
Additional information:
Due to the varying nature of most manufacturing process from company to company, other relevant dimensions and metrics will be defined and added to the Solution during the tuning phase of delivery in order to meet 100% of your requirements.

Performance vs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Bullet graphs or conditional cell color changes can be configured to highlight performance that either fails to meet or exceeds corporate targets. These goals can be set and modified easily in the Analysis front end so that the business users can set the appropriate goals and also adjust them as needed as performance improves.
